Crits are frequent and brutal in torchless, so the less enemy turns get taken the better. Preventing enemies from taking turns is infinitely better than healing the damage after they've taken their turn. This means putting on stuff like prot debuffs, movement correction skills even if a hallway fight is scouted etc the only fights where you can assume you won't be shuffled are scouted room battles.Ĥ. Additionally assume every hallway fight is a shambler at veteran or champion and make sure your skills on your heroes are set up to deal with a shambler. Once you start doing veteran dungeons assume every dungeon will have a shambler. Be conservative with this one, be patient for a good trinket from it but at the same time don't do it really early just because of a good trinket because that's a huge trap.ģ. It's better to do it a bit too late than a bit too early. On normal bloodmoon I could do a bit earlier than that and be fine but on torchless my experience has been doing it too early can slowly send the run into a death spiral. ![]() Hold off on clearing the first CC mission until you can comfortably clear veteran dungeons. This isn't essential by any means but getting access to an extra hero on week 2 is a pretty big deal given the circumstances, and having 4 heroes per week in general in the early game is really nice.Ģ. ![]() ![]() On week 1 you can use some crests to by a deed to level the stage coach up to 4 heroes per week. I figured I'd come here and post some tips I've learned along the way as well as ask for any other good tips anyone might have. So I've been working for a little while on getting my first win on torchless bloodmoon and it's been more brutal than I anticipated.
